How long have you been working for Carters?

I started age 16 but this was only holiday work, officially since 2007…. 10 years!!!

What’s your typical day at Carters?

There is not a typical day! Unfortunately more and more time is spent in the office, answering emails, checking orders, discussing products and planning. Although when I do get chance I love to be out in the factory getting my hands dirty.

What’s the best thing about working at Carters?

The variety, I may be repairing a shovel one moment and then visiting customers the next, every day is different.

If you had to take one tool to a desert island what would it be and why?

General Service shovel, it is very versatile, if it’s good enough for the M.O.D its good enough for me!

If you didn’t work for Carters what would you do instead?

When I was younger I had a passion for skiing… so no doubt be working in the mountains somewhere.

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?

Canada, the wilderness and way of life is very appealing
